Lotto Pro Lottery Software Bet Slip Definitions

Lotto Pro allows you to print your tickets directly on bet slips, instead of filling them out by hand.

The bet slip definitions assume that you will be inserting the stack of slips vertically on the far right side of the printer.

If your printer only allows you to insert the stack of bet slips vertically in the center of the printer, you should check to see if the printer properties allow you to enter a custom paper size. If so, you should create a custom paper size equal to the width and height of the bet slip.

Bet Slip Definition Files

Each lottery game requires a definition file that contains measurements and information pertaining to its bet slip. Listed in the table below are bet slip definition files that are available for download.

After you download the bet slip definition file, you should open it and then click the Install button to install the definitions to the Lotto Pro data folder.

You can tell if the definitions were installed correctly by opening the drawing file for the game and then selecting the Bet Slip Properties option in the Lotto Pro Edit menu. If the definitions are installed, all the measurement values for the slip will be populated.

Why Bet Slip Definition Files Matter

Using the correct bet slip definition file is essential for accurate lottery ticket printing. Lotto Pro’s predefined bet slip files ensure every number aligns perfectly with official lottery forms — saving you time, preventing costly errors, and letting you print directly from your PC with professional precision.

No more manual filling, misaligned marks, or wasted slips — Lotto Pro handles all the formatting automatically once the correct definitions are installed.

Customizing Bet Slip Printing for Your Printer

If your printer feeds paper differently than the default setup, you can easily create or adjust custom paper sizes to fit your lottery’s bet slip dimensions. This flexibility means Lotto Pro works seamlessly with:

● Desktop inkjet and laser printers

● Compact home printers

● Commercial or office-grade models

Always double-check that “Scale to Fit” is turned off to prevent Lotto Pro from resizing your bet slip layout automatically.

Supported Lotteries and Slip Types

Lotto Pro includes or supports downloadable bet slip definitions for popular lottery systems across:

● United States (Powerball, Mega Millions, state lotteries)

● Canada (Lotto 6/49, Lotto Max)

● Europe (EuroMillions, UK Lotto, Spain, Germany, France)

● Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and more

If your country or local lottery isn’t listed, you can create a new definition manually or contact Lotto Pro support for help.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Can I edit a bet slip definition file myself?
Yes. Advanced users can open definition files in a text editor and modify the measurements. However, it’s best to back up the original file before making changes.

Q2: What file format do bet slip definition files use?
They typically use a simple text-based format (.def) readable by Lotto Pro. Each file includes measurement data for the bet slip layout.

Q3: How do I know which bet slip file to download?
Choose the file that matches your lottery game and region. Each download is clearly labeled for easy identification (e.g., “Powerball.def” or “UKLotto.def”).

Q4: Why are my printed numbers misaligned on the slip?
Misalignment usually means your printer margins or paper settings are off. Try setting custom paper dimensions or disabling scaling in your printer preferences.
